If any one has had experience with this let me know. A few years ago we were sited for improper(commercial)use of our property.We had a paid wedding, and a website that listed us as a venue and catering company. When I was sited for noncompliance I made the requested changes to the website, and stayed in compliance. Recently when requesting architectural improvements, I was told they would be delayed "since you are soliciting for weddings" I explained that I was not, that my website solicited for party planning/catering and that I had remained in compliance since the first citation. I was told that this was not "satisfactory to the board" and that they wanted a disclaimer on every page of my website. This made me very angry, but as a measure of good faith I said I would put a disclaimer on the pages that photographs of the house(since this was what seemed to p.o them. Our HOA has Aritectual standards doc stating a playset can't be taller than 10 feet or have a footprint bigger than 150 sqft. We are looking at buying a playset that is bigger than that. We have measured 3 neighbors who have playsets and they are taller and bigger than the standards allow.read more »
