HOA Nut House

In the quiet darkness they came. Gliding upon the still calm waters to display their condemnation. They steal the large flower pot of colorful petunias and they slip away to the empty house across the lake. Upon the dock the offending blooming display is placed for all to see. You speak out against out injustice and we'll show you! No pretty flowers for my friends!

Are we talking 2nd grade or what? Oh it's only a childish prank pulled by some naughty kids. What kid is going to lift a 40 to 50 pound planter box, place it in a boat then ferry it across the lake and lift it again, placing it on the dock of an empty house? Yeah, I believe it. Because kids wouldn't just pull out the flowers or push it into the lake if the intent was mischief, nope they'd definately tote a cumbersome 50 pound planter off with them. My thinking is someone who's trying to stay legal might decide that property damage along with theft is stepping over a line.

I bet this is one possibility that wasn't considered--does the home security system include video surveillance? Makes you want to rush right out a buy a home in this community doesn't it?
