Homeowners association workshop Thursday

Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a free workshop titled "Legal Issues for Homeowners Associations” at 6 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, NW 36 and Walker.

The evening's speaker will be attorney Matthew Winton who specializes in community and homeowner association law.

He will discuss a variety of topics, including by-laws, covenants, assessment of special fees, dues collection, conflict resolution, officer roles and the developer turnover process.

Neighborhood Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe, attractive and healthy neighborhoods throughout central Oklahoma.

A light supper will be served.
