I live in Maryland and own a property that is under a HOA. The HOA community is made up of thirty townhomes. Over the last few years, the HOA has declined. The previous president and other officers moved away so hardly anyone is operating the HOA. The community looks horrible in that lawns aren't cut, trash is kept in an alley between the townhouses, street lights are fused, and so on. The major problem that I'm facing is that I need another parking pass otherwise my tenant will move out. The HOA has strict parking regulations and each car after 9 must have a parking permit. My previous tenant lost their parking pass and i have no way of contacting the HOA association. We want to keep this tenant and feel that we need to do something about this association.
