Wigwam Creek North/Papago Hills and Dogs barking incessantly

I am sleep deprived and ready to take on anyone and anything that gets in my way.

For two years our next door neighbor's have allowed their very vocal dog to bark day and night. We have had whole nights without sleep when they were away and the dog was left, purportedly in someone's care. Now it barks to keep us awake at night and if we have had a late night it seems to know and starts very early in the morning. Its kennel is about 5ft away from our bedroom window. With the more clement weather, it is great to turn off the AC and open the windows. We cannot do that. However, even with the AC on and everything shut we can still hear the barking. There are now other neighbors whose backyards form a quadrant, with dogs and they will tend to set each other off. The way the community is built does not help as the block walls create an echo chamber. The owners of the most vocal dog have a two storeyed house so the dog is placed well away from their bedrooms. In doing this they place the dog right beside our bedroom window. These houses were just tossed onto the lots any which way, there was never any decent planning done by DR Horton's Continental Homes.

This stupid little dog is ruining my health. Why should it? The HOA are no help at all. I don't where to go.

I know that there are certain foods which are bad for dogs. Should I simply go shopping? Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what action did you take?

I live in the same community

I live in the same community and my neighbor has a little yapper and the H.O.A. and management company of Rossmar & Graham is worthless, will not hesitate to fine you if your garbage can is out past 10:30 p.m. or a vehicle is parking in front of your home, regardless of who they belong to. Barking dogs do not generate revenue for these unaccountable "power trippers".

Ever been to an H.O.A. meeting ? What a joke. This Board and management company have so many homeowners irate enough, they have to hire an off duty Maricopa County Sheriff to sit and protect them from these angry homeowners. They have wasted countless amounts of good money, chasing uncollectable unpaid dues.

I would suggest calling the sheriff's office, request not to be contacted upon the deputy's arrival or departure and report a "disturbing the peace" matter. Continue to call the shriff's office each and every time, request an incident the incident number assigned to that particular call and document it.

In the event of a homeowners extended absence, find a BANK FORECLOSURE sign, place in the front yard and call the Humane Societ and report an abandoned pet. (I would recommend making sure your number is blocked)
